Nutrition is one of the most important factor which is to be considered while losing fat or gaining muscle.Nutrition plays a very important role.Body of an individual does not depend totally on workout but it depends on nutrition as well.How a person spends remaining hours except workout hours defines his/her body.

Nutrition required for body

There are two types of nutrients which is required for body
  • Macro nutrients
  • Micro nutrients

Macro nutrients

 Macro nutrients is a nutrient which provides calories and energy.Nutrients is a substance which is needed for growth,proper body function and metabolism. Macro means large and the name Macro nutrients means the nutrient which is required in large quantity.
There are three macro nutrients
  1. Carbohydrates
  2. Proteins
  3. Fats

Micro nutrients

Micro nutrients are vitamins and minerals required in small amounts that are essential for our healts,development and growth

  1. Multi vitamins
  2. Minerals

In this post i am going to tell you types of whey protein available in market.

Types of whey protein are as follows

  1. Whey concentrate
  2. Whey isolate
  3. Hydrolyzed whey

whey concentrate

  • This is the first level of refined whey protein
  • Whey concentrate is the whey protein available in the market which contain 65% to 70% of protein and rest is fats,carbohydrates,sugar(lactose).
  • This is cheapest whey protein available in the market.
  • This whey protein contain high amount of fats,carbohydrates,sugar(lactose) as compared to whey isolate and Hydrolyzed whey.

 whey isolate

  • This is the second level of refined whey protein.
  • Taste is good as compared to hydrolyzed whey.
  • This whey protein contain 85% to 90% of protein and rest is fats,carbohydrates,sugar.
  • Cost is almost 1.5 times than whey concentrate and mostly recommended.

hydrolyzed whey 

  • This is the third and final level of refined whey protein.
  • It contain 99% to 100% protein and lactose(milk sugar) is not present.
  • Very less available in market.
  •  People who compete in competition,body builders,peoples with lactose problem and fitness models consumes this type of whey protein.
  • Taste is not good.
